Business model is about competitive behavior and most of its source derived from innovation, in any kind and area. When talking about business model, we're talking about company's offering, what is the company's value proposition reflected in the products & services offered.

Business model is not just about innovation in a segmented area of business, such as product, marketing, finance, distribution, and production innovation. Such innovations should be in effect of major disturbance in common business practice lead to company's competitive positions relative to other players.
